Educational Assessments and Evaluations
Educational Assessments and Evaluations such as a Neuropsychological Evaluation offer a detailed study and diagnosis of a student's behavior in order to best determine how their brain works. These evaluations assess a student's reading, speaking, attention, memory, and reasoning skills. After completing these assessments, the GRA staff (in partnership with Dr. Jay Berk) can properly gauge a student’s executive functioning skills which then allows us to accurately prescribe the best teaching strategies that will help that student maximize his academic, social, and personal potential inside and outside the classroom.
Families often seek Educational Assessments and Evaluations to:
- Help with a diagnosis such as anxiety, ADHD, or depression
- To determine cognitive strengths and weaknesses
- To establish a baseline of executive functioning skills
- To help plan the best treatment or intervention strategy
