CLASS OF 2018 GRADUATION INFORMATION

Graduation is rapidly approaching! Below, please find details about graduation week and the events planned in celebration of your student's success.

Graduation Events at GRA

Tuesday, May 22nd

Spring Sports and Year-End Academic Awards Night

Evening begins at 5:00pm.

Monday, May 21st - Wednesday, May 23rd

5:00 p.m.Class of 2018 Reception

Parents, as well as special friends in your graduate's life, are invited to meet one another and celebrate graduation weekend at the Bud Field Student Center. GRA alumni are also invited to this special reception to welcome Class of 2018 members to the GRA brotherhood (RSVP required).

5:45 p.m. Class of 2018 Recognition Presentation

The evening will continue at the Robert S. Morrison Lecture Center with a special presentation honoring our GRA parents and the fine accomplishment their sons are making through graduation from GRA. Seniors who are recognized at Tuesday's all-student Awards Ceremony will once again be presented with any distinguished honors received.

6:30 p.m. Class of 2018 Banquet (RSVP required)

Join your GRA graduate for a celebratory meal and program in Armington Dining Hall. Invitation will follow for you and your guests (RSVP required).

Saturday, May 26th

10:30 a.m.Students assemble in the Media Room of the Bud Field Student Center

11:00 a.m.Graduation Ceremony begins in the Robert Morrison Lecture Center

12:00 p.m. Class of 2018 Graduation photo & cap toss on the steps of Armington Hall, with celebratory luncheon to follow

Vineyard Woods is a beautiful lodging option with a cottage and a villa that are surrounded by woods and a vineyard. Although we aren't able to guarantee availability, they do offer a 10% discount to Grand River Academy friends and family. The promo code is "GRA". Check their website for more information.


ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

A professional photographer will be present for the graduation ceremony to take individual photos of graduates receiving their diploma. A link to the photos will be provided, should you wish to purchase.

The cost of the Senior Trip will be approximately $250. This will be added to your account. You must contact Mrs. Robin Nagle by April 9th, if you student will not be going on the trip. If he doesn't go on the trip, he MUST be off campus with you from Wednesday afternoon until Friday afternoon.

There is a $75 graduation fee that is charged to your account for graduation expenses, which includes your graduate's cap, gown, diploma, etc.
