Grand River Academy is excited to welcome Mr. Tim Oditt to campus as he begins his role as Head of School! Everyone at GRA, from the faculty to students and their families, are looking forward to this upcoming school year and learning more about Mr. Oditt. While families had the opportunity to meet with him during summer registration, we were also able to ask Mr. Oditt some questions:
Because preparing young men for success in all aspects of their lives is not only exciting, but tremendously fulfilling! To see their growth from the first day they set foot on campus to the day they cross the stage is continuously amazing.
What's your favorite thing so far about the school?
By far, my favorite thing is seeing the dedication of the faculty and staff to developing our young men.
What are your outside interests?
Reading, college basketball, the Boston Red Sox, and attending my children's sporting events.
What is something unique about yourself?
I have traveled to 24 different countries...and counting!
Remember your first time on campus...what stands out?
The thing that stands out about my first time on campus was the dedication to teaching boys and meeting them where they are at to develop their success.
What is a goal you have for the upcoming school year?
My goal for this school year is to become part of the close-knit community and to learn the culture of the school and surrounding community.
The GRA community and friends are invited to welcome Mr. Oditt to campus on Friday, August 3rd with a picnic being hosted at the Bud Field Student Center between 11:30am - 2:30pm (remarks at 12:30pm). If you'd like to attend, please let us know!
