GRA Welcomes Community to Learn about Holiday Events in Ashtabula
David Thomas '11
Community members and local business owners joined together at the Robert S. Morrison Lecture Center at Grand River Academy to participate in GRA's Never Stop Learning Faculty Led Discussions. The November 30th session focused on Hidden Gems in Ashtabula County for the Holidays, discussing activities families can enjoy locally during this upcoming season.

"Grand River Academy is something of a Hidden Gem in Ashtabula County, so we wanted to highlight other wonderful community groups and events in our area that everyone should know about" shared David Thomas '11, GRA's Assistant Director of Advancement and Alumni Relations.

Presenters included Meeghan Humphrey with the Ashtabula Arts Center, Kevin Lemons with Manners Tree Farm, Rick Coblitz from Ashtabula County Lights on the Lake, Jodi Fowler with the Ashtabula County Family YMCA, Kathleen Milford with the Holiday Music Bonanza, and Stephanie Siegel from the Ashtabula County Convention and Visitors Bureau.

"We are so thrilled to be able to offer the Arts Center's upcoming opportunities", explained Ashtabula Arts Center Director Meeghan Humphrey, "all of these organizations support the community and it's good to know what is happening this holiday season so we can share with others."

Organizations provided listeners information and answered questions about their business or civic group and what events occur for the community during the holidays. Individuals interested in learning more about the events discussed by these organizations are encouraged to contact David Thomas at 440-275-2811 ext 246 or
