Bob and Linnet Fritz Technology Center
Grand River Academy

Grand River Academy is pleased to announce the grand opening of The Bob and Linnet Fritz Technology Center. Students, Faculty, staff, and special guests attended the ceremony on Friday, September 24, on GRA's campus in Austinburg.

The Bob and Linnet Fritz Technology Center is located in Grand River Academy's Bud Field Student Center. Through the generosity of Bob and Linnet Fritz, the Technology Center features 10 brand new desktop computers with dual monitors, two 3D printers, 10 drone kits, and several other new state-of-the-art equipment to better prepare our students for future success. This dynamic addition to GRA's campus will allow students to further explore their own unique creativity and advance their technological mastery in a productive way.

Not only is this a phenomenal resource for Grand River Academy students, but it will also be strategically utilized by our talented Faculty to further enrich our college preparatory curriculum. GRA's faculty has been working hard to effectively integrate the new resources in the Technology Center into their classes for the rest of the semester and beyond.

Grand River Academy's Dean of Academics, David Crowell, notes, "We can say for certain that technology is not going anywhere in our student's lives. Our new Technology Center will allow our students to build programs, use technology in the classroom, and learn how to use technology in an active way rather than a passive way. They will learn about the impact of technology not only in an academic environment but also in their lives outside of school."

Grand River Academy is thrilled to welcome students into The Bob and Linnet Fritz Technology Center beginning this week and further activate our students' talent and creativity.
