AUSTINBURG, OH — November 21, 2016 – For the third consecutive year, the Grand River Academy soccer team has earned the NSCAA Team Academic Award for exemplary performance in the classroom as a team. To qualify for this award, the team must have a minimum grade point average of 3.25 for the entire academic year.
GRA’s soccer team was one of 389 teams nationwide (138 boys, 251 girls) recognized for exemplary performance in the classroom. Coach Frank Shreve shares "To have our student-athletes earn this award for three consecutive years speaks to the commitment of academic excellence we promote at Grand River Academy. It is a tremendous honor. Our students and faculty alike work very hard.”
