It has been a great few weeks here on campus as GRA's Summer Academy is rounding out its second of five weeks for this summer!111 Mr. Scharping, the director for this year's program, is excited to have just under 30 new and returning students in classes ranging from Geometry with Mr. Pavlovic, American History with Mr. Crowell, and many more.
The guys have been busy in and out of the classroom these two weeks. Having class from 8am until 2pm, with a snack and lunch break, means the students want to get out and move once their books close. We have had trips to the Cleveland Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Hogback Ridge Hiking Trail in Madison, Cedar Point in Sandusky, and many more off campus activities.
Our three alumni Dorm Counselors, Ian Race '13, Diego Moreno '13, and Gary Leslie '15, as well as our summer faculty have been busy with activities such as outdoor soccer, nature walks, evening Purple Cows, golfing, and of course the ever needed trips to Walmart.
We also welcomed back to campus Cody Heckman '09. Cody enjoyed walking around campus and exploring many of the changes to campus since he last visited.
With so much going on, we would love to welcome you back to campus to visit!
