Success in many forms, as seen with this week’s alumni spotlight, Eric Gray '12. Eric is a student at Purdue University studying history. He is taking a year off from his studies working at Von's Book Shop in West Lafayette, Indiana doing what he loves - reading history and archiving.
In his free time Eric has been helping his father with the Freeman Army Air Field Museum recovering German WWII aircraft in Southern Indiana. The team was featured on National Geographic recently. In addition to this project, he enjoys reading, building historical models, and attending Indycar races.
Eric plans to return to school soon and pursue a career in museums with a focus on Motorsports. He has said that he misses the closeness of the Grand River community while he was a student. The friendships that were formed here Eric mentioned, were extremely strong and continue to this day
