After ten years of growing interest amongst the student body, Mr. Blum and Mr. McNevan felt that it was time to take the next step and commit to establishing a Grand River Academy Lacrosse Club. The interest first appeared on campus with students bringing their own sticks and balls from home and playing informal games during afternoon activities in the Spring time. The school purchased lacrosse goals to place at the soccer field in 2005. After a significant donation from Mr. Brian Bailey, father of Chris Bailey '08, the school purchased equipment to incorporate into our physical education curriculum.
