Celebrate the accomplishments of the GRA students being inducted into the National Honor Society in Armington Dining Hall with this special ceremony outlining NHS’ four pillars of scholarship, service, leadership and character.
12:00pm & 2:00pm GRA Eagles’ Baseball Double-Header
Cheer the Eagles onto victory at Dylan Memorial Field against the Lake Ridge Academy Royals.
2:00pm Snacks at The Berkey Sports Pavilion
Relax and enjoy some tasty treats!
5:30pm: Grand River Gala - An Evening of Philanthropy for The Blue & White Fund
Support GRA’s Annual Fund, The Blue & White Fund, in reaching its goal of $250,000 by attending this 3rd annual fundraiser. Proceeds from this year’s event will “raise the roof” and replace the roofs on West, Warren & North Halls, three of GRA’s five student dormitories. Featuring a four-course meal with Laurello Vineyard wine pairings, a silent auction spotlighting the hometowns of our students and a moving GRA testimonial, this evening is not to be missed! 12:00pm-3:00pm: Spend the Day at GRA
Step back in time and experience a day in the life of a current GRA student! Eat lunch with a faculty advisor, attend two afternoon classes, and relax at the Bud Field Student Center for afternoon study hall. “Pre-register” for classes and pick-up your schedule in Armington Hall at noon, before heading to lunch.
5:00pm: Class of 2017 Reception, Presentation & Banquet Dinner
Celebrate the new members of the GRA brotherhood as they reflect back on their time at GRA and anticipate their future as alumni. This evening of recognition features a reception in the Bud Field Student Center, immediately followed by a special presentation honoring our GRA parents and the fine accomplishment their sons are making through graduation from GRA. Distinguished, year-end awards will also be distributed to the Class of 2017. The evening concludes with a dinner buffet in Armington Hall. RSVP required & business casual suggested.

10:30am: Alumni Registration
Swing by Shepard Hall to register, pick up your special Alumni Weekend gift, and receive your GRA packet including a Laurello Vineyards wine ticket and Geneva-on-the-Lake Madsen Donuts’ voucher.
11:00am: 2017 Graduation Ceremony and 5th Annual Alumni Take a Stand
Join the Grand River Academy community as we welcome the Class of 2017. Graduation will be held on the steps of Shepard Hall with speaker Aaron Tiknis ‘08.
During the Graduation ceremony, Jeff Mead ‘12 will ask all alumni (and their families) to "Take A Stand" and be honored. The graduating class of 2017 will then be asked to "Take A Stand" themselves, joining their fellow alumni as members of a very elite club – the distinguished graduates of Grand River Academy.
12:00pm-1:00pm: Alumni Picture & GRA Community Luncheon Buffet
Join in the memories of Graduation weekend with an “all-alumni” picture. Then, enjoy lunch with your fellow alumni, families, teachers, and current students hosted in Armington Hall.
1:15pm-1:45pm: Dedication of the Trombley Home
Honor Mr. Jed Trombley and his more than 20 years of service at GRA with the dedication of the Trombley Home, GRA’s most recently built faculty housing unit. This special ceremony will take place on the north side of campus.
1:45pm – 3:00pm: Campus Highlights Tour
Take a guided tour to see the history, and future, of Grand River Academy. Departing from the steps of the Trombley Home, highlights will include recent campus updates, such as the Productive Growth Center, Knowledge Commons at Gates Library, and the Robert S. Morrison Lecture Center.
3:30pm-4:30pm: Afternoon Winery Social
Enjoy the afternoon with fellow alumni, family, and GRA friends at Laurello Vineyards for good company, food and memories. Complementary hor d’oeurves provided, and one wine ticket available for those 21 & older.
5:00pm: At Your Leisure - Geneva-on-the-Lake
Take a trip back to “weekend activities” and visit the travel destination of the summer, Geneva-on-the-Lake. Visit Eddie’s Grill for a root beer, play putt - putt at Alison’s, and enjoy the picturesque view of Lake Erie. Complementary Madsen Donuts voucher provided, and dinner suggestions available at Registration.
