Summer Academy 2008

June 29 through August 8
Serving boys and girls entering grades 9-12

During the six-week co-educational Summer Academy, 5 and 7-day boarding students can strengthen an academic area or investigate a new subject.

Our ratio of one faculty member for every four students assures that each student will receive personal attention.  Small classes, daily help sessions, and a residential staff give students easy access to faculty members who are committed to helping students achieve their academic goals.

The summer starts off on Monday morning as students begin classes. The first weekend is always reserved for the BIG trip to Cedar Point. The students are kept busy both in the classroom and out. Trips have been planned and students enjoy the great weather that NorthEast Ohio has to offer. They have the opportunity to attend a Cleveland Indians game, visit Cedar Point and Lake Shore Park, putt-putt at the Geneva Adventure Zone and enjoy the Erie Family First Sports Park. The students play paintball, enjoying golf, tennis, sand volleyball, canoeing, playing basketball & fishing.

After the first weekend trip to Cedar Point, the students will continue to be busy. Planned trips always include Niagara Falls, Geauga Lake and the Medieval Fair. Along the way we will be attending Lake County Captains games, several afternoon adventures, Pioneer Water Park and much, much more!
